Overview

Within MobiWork, inactive or former contractors can be disabled to keep your contractor list organized and easier to manage. Disabling contractors removes them from contractor selection lists when dispatching work orders, assigning tasks, or scheduling jobs, helping ensure that only active contractors are available for assignment.

Disabling contractors preserves all associated historical records; this includes past work orders, invoices, communications, and dispatch activities, allowing you to maintain accurate reporting.

Important: Please note that if you disable a contractor, you will have to manually reassign all the assigned jobs and customers (e.g., recurrent services, recurrent routes, work orders, etc.).

How to Access the Page

You will be able to disable a contractor through the "List" tab. For more information how to access this page, please see the Contractor List page:

  1. Right-click on a contractor to open the right-click options and from the drop-down, select the "Disable" option. (The options that are displayed when you right-click on a contractor are also available when you select the Individual Actions button).

  2. Select the More Actions button and from the drop-down, select the "Disable Selected" option. Please note that this option will give you the ability to disable multiple contractors at once.

  3. Click on the Individual Actions (the three vertical dots) and from the drop-down select the "Disable" option. (The options that are displayed from the Individual Actions button are the same as when you right-click on a contractor).

Disable Contractor

To disable a single contractor, you can either:

  • Right-click on the desired contractor and select the "Disable" option from the drop-down:

  • Or click on the Individual Actions button and select the "Disable" option from the drop-down:

Regardless of the option that you choose the Confirm Disable pop-up window will appear. Select the Yes button to confirm you would like to disable the selected contractor:

Disable Multiple Contractors

MobiWork allows you to disable multiple contractors at once, thus saving you time and energy from having to disable contractor one at a time.

To disable multiple contractors, you will need to access the More Actions button from the Contractor List page:

  1. Check off the desired contractors you would like to disable; if you would like to disable all your contractors you can click on the topmost checkbox (Multiple Selection Area):

    • Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Disable Selected Users" option:

  2. A warning will then appear asking to confirm if you would like to disable the selected contractors:

Enter the requested number and then click the Yes button to confirm. If you would like to enable a disabled contractor, please see the Add Contractor page.
