Overview

MobiWork makes it simple to adjust payment details, whether you need to update the payment status or modify the payment amount. By editing the payment status, you will be able to edit the payment's integration status.

When you edit the payment amount, you can update the amount the customer paid on the invoice. You can also adjust the payment date, or add notes as needed. Both features are designed to streamline payment adjustments and ensure accurate financial records. This section provides a step-by-step guide on how to access and use the edit features, allowing you to manage payments efficiently and with ease.

How to Access the Page

Within MobiWork there are two different ways that you can edit a payment; you can either edit the payment status or the payment amount.

The subsections below will highlight how to access the different edit payment functions.



Edit Status

To edit your payment status, you will first need to be on the Payments feature page. For more information on how to access this page, please see the Payments List page.

Once you are on the Payments feature page, click on the More Actions button to access the "Edited Selected Payments Integration Status" option from the drop-down:



Edit Amount

You can also edit the payment amount within MobiWork. To edit the payment amount, you will first need to access the View Invoice pop-up window. For more information on how to access this pop-up window please see the View an Invoice page.

Once you are on the View Invoice pop-up window, click on the "Payments" tab:

To edit the amount, you can either:

  1. Right-click on the selected payment, and from the drop-down select the "Edit" option

  2. Click on the Individual Actions button, and from the drop-down select the "Edit" option

Edit Status

Once you are on the Payments feature page, click on the More Actions button to access the "Edited Selected Payments Integration Status" option from the drop-down:

The Edit Selected Payments pop-up window will then appear. In this pop-up window, select the new status and then click the Save button to confirm the updated status:

Edit Amount

After selecting the "Edit" option in the View Invoice pop-up window, the Edit Payment pop-up window will appear.

From this pop-up window you can enter the revised amount, the payment date, or update the note associated with the payment:

Once you are satisfied with the revised payment amount, click the Edit button to finalize the changes.

Edit Multiple Payments

You can also edit payments in bulk through Excel:

  • Please note that if you would like to export all your payments into Excel you can click on the topmost checkbox (Multiple Selection Area) located in the "Successful Payments" or "Failed Payments" column. Likewise, if you do not select any entries ALL records will be exported:

  • Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down menu select the "Export to Excel" option:

  • The Excel file will automatically download, and you will be able to locate it in your computer's Download folder.

  • This Excel file will display the payment ID, invoice ID, user name, etc. in an easy-to-read format. You can then use Excel file to easily navigate through your company's payments:
