Parts Page
Overview

This section will highlight how to successfully navigate to the Parts page through the Customer Portal. The Parts page will allow your customers to view and add parts/services to their shopping cart.

How to Access the Page

Your customer can access the Parts page by clicking on the Parts feature from the customer portal menu:

Cart Layout Page

The Parts page will immediately display all your company's parts that the customer can purchase:

  1. The Search function and Magnifying Glass will allow the customer to search for the desired part or service. The Search Bar is available on both tabs.

  2. The Tabs will allow the customer to view the offered parts and services in a different layout (i.e., "List" or "Cart Layout").

  3. The Part/Service Icon will show a representative image of the respective part or service.

  4. Allows you to add the part or service to your shopping cart.

  5. Allows you to navigate through the parts cart layout pages.

  6. The shopping cart is where the parts and services are stored for future purchases. This icon is available on both tabs.

Search Area

The customer can use the search bar to locate a specific part or service:

By entering the part/service and pressing Enter (Windows Keyboard), Return (Mac Keyboard), or clicking the Magnifying Glass, the customer will be able to locate the specified part or service.

Tabs

Tabs are located under the Search Bar. Your customer can change the way that the information is displayed by clicking on the desired tab:

There are two tabs that your customer can toggle between on the Parts feature page. They are the "List" and "Cart Layout" tabs.

List Tab

The "List" tab will display the parts/service's "ID," "Image," "Name," "Model Number," "SKU Number," "Category," "Subcategory," and "Actions:"

  1. The Parts Columns are structured to display specific data related to each individual part or service.

  2. The Add to Cart button allows you to add the part or service to your cart.


List Tab Columns

The columns found in Parts page are structured to display specific data related to each individual part or service:

These columns are organized as: "ID," "Image," "Name," "Model Number," "SKU Number," "Category," "Subcategory," and "Actions." The columns from the Parts page are further defined below:

Name:Description:
"ID" The part or service ID number
"Image" The image of the part
"Name" The designated name or title of the part for easy identification.
"Model #" The model number of the part
"SKU #" The SKU number of the part
"Category" The category that the part falls under
"Sub Category" The sub category that the part falls under
"Actions" The Add to Cart button, under the Actions column, allows the customer to add the part or service to their shopping cart
