Work Orders Page
Overview

This section will highlight how to successfully navigate to the Work Orders page through the Customer Portal. The Work Orders page will allow your customers to view past work orders and add new work orders.

How to Access the Page

Your customer can access the Work Orders page by clicking on the Work Orders feature from the Customer Portal menu:

The Work Orders page will immediately display all the past work orders for the customer and will allow the customer to add a new work order:

  1. The Search function and Magnifying Glass will allow the customer to search through past work orders

  2. If the customer clicks the checkbox next to the "Include Closed Work Orders" text, the listed work orders will include work orders that have been completed/closed

  3. The Add Work Order button will allow the customer to immediately add a new work order

  4. The Work Orders Columns are structured to display specific data related to each individual work order

Search Area

The customer can use the search bar to locate a specific work order:

By entering the work order description or ID and pressing Enter (Windows Keyboard), Return (Mac Keyboard), or clicking the Magnifying Glass, the customer will be able to locate the specified work order.

To locate a closed work order, the customer should click the checkbox next to the "Include Closed Work Orders" text before starting the search.

Work Orders Columns

The columns found in Work Orders page are structured to display specific data related to each individual work order:

These columns are organized as: "ID," "Description," "Location," "Status," "Created Date," and "Actions." The columns from the Work Orders page are further defined below:

Name:Description:
"ID" The ID of the work order
"Description" The description and type of work order
"Location" The location where the work order is being performed
"Status" The status of the work order (e.g., Open, Waiting for Dispatch, In Transit, Completed, etc.).
"Created Date" The date that the work order was created by the customer
"Actions" Allows the customer to access the View Work Order pop-up window
