Points of Interest
Overview
"Points of Interest" allows you to pre-set points of interest and monitor users' time spent at each location (including on a map).
Accessing the Page
It can be found by -
  • Clicking the "Points of Interest" shortcut

  • Going to the "Analytics" -> "Locations" -> "Points of Interest" main menu entry
Free Text Search

Free Text Search is available to do a quick search by name, address, city, zip code, and POI Location ID.
"Show All" Search
"Show All" shows all the users' available points of interest.
"New Search" Search
"New Search" provides a very advanced search and it can be saved so that the same search can be executed at any time by anyone.

Click "New Search" to conduct a new search.

"New Search" contains -

Name:Description:
"Location Type" is either all, none, custom, customer, partner, user, corporate, task, store, or prospect.
"Name" is the name of the point of interest.
"Address" is the address of the point of interest.
"Radius" is the radius of the circle that defines the point of interest.
"Geocode Status" is either show all, yes (latitude/longitude available), or no (latitude/longitude not available).
"Sort By" can be name, street address, or category in ascending or descending order.
"Then By" can be name, street address, or category in ascending or descending order.
"Save this Search" allows the search parameters to be saved under a name to be reused in the future.
"Search Available to all Users" allows the search to be available to all users.
"Default Saved Search" Sets the saved search as the default view when accessing the search feature in the future.
"More Actions"
"More Actions" include add point of interest, import POIs from Excel, and export POIs to Excel.

Name:Description:
"Add Point of Interest" adds a point of interest to "Points of Interest"
"Import POIs from Excel" imports points of interest from Excel.
"Export POIs to Excel" exports points of interest to Excel.
"Add Point of Interest"
Customer, user, task, prospect, and store locations automatically create a point of interest.

"Add Point of Interest" contains -

Name:Description:
"Location Name" is the location name of the point of interest.


If "Street Address" is selected for the location type then these fields appear -

Name:Description:
"Street Address 1" is the street address of the point of interest. This is a required field to fill out.
"Show Map" adjusts the location on the map and updates the latitude and longitude. When filling out the address, if MobiWork cannot properly geocode that latitude / longitude it will ask you to physically select the location by dragging an icon on a map.
"Street Address 2" is additional street address information of the point of interest.
"City" is the city of the point of interest. This is a required field to fill out.
"Country" is the country of the point of interest.
"State" is the state of the point of interest.
"Zip Code" is the zip code of the point of interest.
"Category" is the custom category of the point of interest.
"Category Name" displays if "Category" is "Create New." This field is the name of the category.
"User" are the user(s) associated with the point of interest.
"Radius" is the radius of the circle that defines the point of interest (a required field to fill out that must be greater than 50 meters).


If "Latitude / Longitude" or "Pick the Location on a Map" are selected for the location type then these fields appear -

"Latitude" is the latitude of the point of interest.
"Show Map" adjusts the location on the map and updates the latitude and longitude.
"Longitude" is the longitude of the point of interest.
"Category" is the custom category of the point of interest.
"Category Name" displays if "Category" is "Create New." This field is the name of the category.
"User" are the user(s) associated with the point of interest.
"Radius" is the radius of the circle that defines the point of interest (a required field to fill out that must be greater than 50 meters).
"List" Tab
The "List" tab allows you to see the points of interest that match your selected search in a table format.

The "List Tab" contains -

Name:Description:
"ID" is the ID of the point of interest.
"Name" is the name of the point of interest.
"Address" is the address of the point of interest.
"Type" is either custom, customer, partner, user, corporate, task, store, or prospect.
"Actions" contain view and delete.
"Map" Tab
The "Map Tab" displays a map with points of interest including their type (custom, customer, partner, user, corporate, task, store, or prospect) and address. The ability to edit the radius and delete the point of interest is also present.
