Delete or Disable Services

Overview

Enhance your service management efficiency with MobiWork's versatile deletion and disabling options. Seamlessly delete single or multiple services permanently, or opt to disable them for temporary removal.

By disabling a service, you ensure it no longer appears in your workflow, preventing any inadvertent usage in work orders or invoices. Plus, it maintains historical data integrity, avoiding complications with past invoices and work orders.

Important: Once you delete a service they will be permanently removed from the system. If you would like to remove a service from your list, we recommend you disable them instead; otherwise, it can cause issues with past invoices, work orders, etc.

How to Access the Page

To delete or disable any services you first need to be in the "Services List (Catalog)" tab. For more information about this page, please see the Services List (Catalog) page for more information:

Select the desired service ID and once the View Service pop-up window appears, click on the Individual Actions button. From the drop-down choose the "Delete" or "Disable" option:

Right-click on the selected service and choose the "Disable" option.
Right-click on the selected service and choose the "Delete" option.
Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Delete Selected" or the "Disabled Selected" option; please note that these options will allow you to respectively delete or disable multiple services at once.
Click on the Individual Actions button and from the drop-down choose the "Disable" option.
Click on the Individual Actions button and from the drop-down choose the "Delete" option.

Delete a Single Service

Regardless of how you choose to delete an individual service:

Selecting the desired service ID and once the View Service pop-up window appears, clicking on the Individual Actions button. From the drop-down choose the "Delete" option:

Right-clicking on the selected service and choosing the "Delete" option from the drop-down:

Or clicking on the Individual Actions button and from the drop-down selecting the "Delete" option:

The Confirm Delete pop-up window will automatically appear:

If you are sure you would like to delete the selected service, click the Yes button. Please note that this action is permanent and all references to the part or service will become invalid.

Delete Multiple Services

MobiWork allows you to delete multiple services at once, thus saving you time and energy from having to delete services one at a time.

To delete multiple services, you will need to access the More Actions button from the Services feature page:

Check off the desired services you would like to delete; if you would like to delete all your services you can click on the topmost checkbox (Multiple Selection Area) located in the "List" column:

Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Delete Selected" option:

A warning will then appear asking to confirm if you would like to delete the selected services, and informing you that the deletion of the services will affect any work orders, customers, etc. that the service is associated with:

Type the requested number in the text box and then click the Yes button to confirm deletion. Once confirmed, the services will automatically be deleted from MobiWork.

Delete the Service Image

You can remove the image from a single service by accessing the View Service pop-up window.

From this pop-up window, click on the Individual Actions in the upper right corner, and from the drop-down select the "Delete Image" option:

Once you select this option, the Confirm Delete pop-up window will appear. Click the Yes button to confirm that you would like to permanently delete the image associated with the service.

Delete Multiple Images

If you would like to delete multiple images associated with the service, you will need to access the More Actions button from the Services feature page:

Check off the desired services whose images you would like to delete; if you would like to delete the images for all your services you can click on the topmost checkbox (Multiple Selection Area) located in the "List" column:

Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Delete Selected Image" option:

A warning will then appear asking to confirm if you would like to delete the images for the selected services, and informing you that the deletion of the services will affect any work orders, customers, etc. that the service is associated with:

Click the Yes button to confirm deletion. Once confirmed, the images for the associated services will automatically be deleted from MobiWork:

Disable a Service

Regardless of how you decide to disable a service:

Selecting the desired service ID and once the View Service pop-up window appears, clicking on the Individual Actions button. From the drop-down choose the "Disable" option:

Right-clicking on the selected service and choosing the "Disable" option from the drop-down:

Or clicking on the Individual Actions button and from the drop-down selecting the "Disable" option:

The Confirm Disable pop-up window will automatically appear:

Click the Yes button to confirm that you would like the selected services to be disabled. Once confirmed, the services will automatically be disabled.

Disable Multiple Services

MobiWork allows you to disable multiple services at once, thus saving you time and energy from having to disable services one at a time.

To disable multiple services, you will need to access the More Actions button from the Services feature page:

Check off the desired services you would like to disable; if you would like to disable all your services you can click on the topmost checkbox (Multiple Selection Area) located in the "List" column:

Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Disable Selected" option:

A warning will then appear asking to confirm if you would like to disable the selected services:

Click the Yes button to confirm that the selected services are to be disabled. Once confirmed, the services will automatically be disabled from MobiWork.
