Disable Users
Overview

Within MobiWork, you can disable former employees to streamline your workflow- no more seeing former users when assigning or dispatching work orders or organizing your schedule.

While you cannot delete users, disabling them ensures they stay in the system, while preserving valuable historical data for your reference.

Important: Please note that if you disable a user, you will have to manually reassign all the assigned jobs and customers (e.g., recurrent services, recurrent routes, work orders, etc.).

How to Access the Page

You will be able to disable a user through the "List" tab. For more information how to access this page, please see the User List page:

  1. Right-click on a user to open the right-click options and from the drop-down, select the "Disable" option. (The options that are displayed when you right-click on a user are also available when you select the Individual Actions button).

  2. Select the More Actions button and from the drop-down, select the "Disable Selected" option. Please note that this option will give you the ability to disable multiple users at once.

  3. Click on the Individual Actions (the three vertical dots) and from the drop-down select the "Disable" option. (The options that are displayed from the Individual Actions button are the same as when you right-click on a user).

Disable a Single User

To disable a single user, you can either:

  • Right-click on the desired user and select the "Disable" option from the drop-down:

  • Or click on the Individual Actions button and select the "Disable" option from the drop-down:

Regardless of the option that you choose the Confirm Disable pop-up window will appear. Select the Yes button to confirm you would like to disable the selected user:

If you would like to enable a disabled employee, please see the Add or Enable a User page.

Disable Multiple Users

MobiWork allows you to disable multiple users at once, thus saving you time and energy from having to disable users one at a time.

To disable multiple users, you will need to access the More Actions button from the User List View Page:

  1. Check off the desired users you would like to disable; if you would like to disable all your users you can click on the topmost checkbox (Multiple Selection Area):

    • Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Disable Selected Users" option:

  2. A warning will then appear asking to confirm if you would like to disable the selected users:

Enter the requested number and then click the Yes button to confirm. If you would like to enable a disabled employee, please see the Add or Enable a User page.
