Prospects Settings
Overview
The "Prospect Settings" page allows you to view and edit the Prospect Settings.
How to Access the Page
It can be found by -
  • Going to the "Management" -> "Prospects" -> "Settings" main menu entry

  • Going to the "Account" -> "Settings" main menu entry and then clicking the "Features" tab and clicking "Prospects"
Custom Fields

A prospect custom field is a field needed for your own prospects that you can create that will appear within the prospect's add, edit, and view page, import/export, etc, that are used to add to the existing prospect fields based on the needs of your business that can be searchable, appear once or multiple times, open ended, is required or optional, and can be visible by the customer or not.

Examples of prospect custom fields are website URL as a string and referred by as a multiple choice.

"Status"
"Status" are statuses of prospects that you can set that fit your business, for instance, prospects that are waiting for initial contact, waiting to schedule call, ongoing, etc.

"Status" contains -

"Status Name" is the custom status name of the prospect.
"Actions" include edit and delete.
"Add Status" adds a status to "Status."
"Prospect Categories"
"Prospect Categories" can be used to categorize your prospects such as by customer, reseller, partner, etc.

"Prospect Categories" contain -

"Name" is the name of the prospect category.
"Actions" include edit and delete.
"Add Prospect Category" adds a prospect category to "Prospect Categories"
"Actions"
Actions are a convenient way to perform complex actions on one or more prospects at once. Actions appear in the list page, view page, and device.

"Actions" contain -

Name:Description:
"Name" is the name of the action.
"Type" is the type of action.
"Options" Shows the configuration information; only provides value during troubleshooting
"Actions" include edit and delete.
"Add Email Action" adds an email action to "Actions" which includes the users that will be sent the email (including customers and administrators), who the email is from, who the recipients should respond to, the subject and message, allowing action on multiple entities where this entity action will be shown in "More Actions" in the upper right corner with the option to pick multiple prospects using the checkbox and perform the entity action, adding a PDF and note from the prospect to the email, sending the email using the logged in Gmail account in the same browser, and the entity (prospect) status.
