To adjust the data of a sales order already in the system, all you need to do is access the "Edit" sales order feature. With this feature you can adjust the status, sales tax, the assigned user who sold the product/service, and more.

There are several ways you can edit a sales order within MobiWork. You can edit the sales order either through the Sales Orders "List" tab or by accessing the "Sales Order" tab in the View Customers pop-up window.
Sales Order List Page
The most direct way to update a sales order is through the Sales Orders "List" tab. For more information on how to access this page, please see the Sales Order List section for more information.
Once, you are on the "List" tab, there are several different ways you can edit a sales order:
Click on the Sales Order ID to open the View Sales Order pop-up window. Then click on the Individual Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Edit" option. You can also edit the status, by clicking on the status at the top of the pop-up window:
- Please note that there are several ways that you can access the View Sales Order pop-up window. Please see the View Sales Order page for the different ways that you can open the View Sales Order pop-up window.
Right-click on a sales order to open the right-click options and select the "Edit" option from the drop-down. (The options that are displayed when you right-click on a sales order are also available when you select the Individual Actions button.)
Select the More Actions button from the "Global Actions" and select the "Edit Selected Sales Orders Integration Status" from the drop-down. Please note that this option will give you the ability to edit multiple sales orders at once.
Click on the Individual Actions button (the three vertical dots) from the "Actions" column and from the drop-down select the "Edit" option. (The options that are displayed from the Individual Actions button are the same as when you right-click on a sales order.)

Once you open the View Customer pop-up window select the "Sales Orders" tab. From this tab, you can:
Right-click on a sales order to open the right-click drop-down and select the "Edit" option. (The options that are displayed when you right-click on a sales order are also available when you select the Individual Actions button.)
Click on the Individual Actions button (the three vertical dots) from the "Actions" column and select the "Edit" option. (The options that are displayed from the Individual Actions button are the same as when you right-click on a sales order.)
The Edit Sales Order pop-up window will then appear.
There are several different ways to edit a single sales order. The section, How to Access the Page, will illustrate how to navigate to the methods listed below:
Clicking on the Sales Order ID of a specific sales order to open the View Sales Order pop-up window and selecting the "Edit" option from the drop-down:
Right-clicking on the Sales Orders "List" tab and selecting the "Edit" option from the drop-down menu:
Clicking on the Individual Actions of a specific sales order and selecting the "Edit" option from the drop-down menu:
Clicking on the "Edit" option (either from the Individual Actions or by right-clicking) from the Customer's "Sales Order" tab:
Edit a Sales Order Pop-up Window
Regardless of how you choose to edit a single sales order, the Edit Sales Order pop-up window will then appear.
In this window you can update the status of the sales order, any discounts associated with the sales order, the delivery address and contact for the sales order, and more:
The terms found in the Edit Sales Order pop-up window are defined below:
Name: | Description: |
---|---|
"Status" | The status of the sales order; includes open, checked out (cannot add a new item to the sales order), order processed, and order failed. |
"Terms" | The terms and conditions of how the sales order should be paid, (e.g., due on receipt, net 15, net 20, etc.). If there are "net" terms and no due date MobiWork will automatically be able to calculate the due date based on the "net" selected |
"Discount" | The applied discount in numerical for the sales order. |
"Discount Percent" | The applied discount in percent form for the sales order. |
"Sales Tax" | The calculated sales tax for the sales order's products and services |
"Shipping Cost" | The shipping cost of the product(s) associated with the sales order |
"Delivery Address" | The delivery address for the sales order |
"Delivery Contact" | The delivery contact for the sales order |
"PO Number" | The purchase number for the invoice. |
"Sold By" | The user who created the sales order. |
"Comments" | Input any comments related to the purchased items or services that you would like displayed on the sales order. |
Instead of editing the entire sales order, MobiWork gives you the option to update only the status or the integrated status. There are several different ways to edit the status or the integrated status for an individual sales order; the section, How to Access the Page will illustrate how to navigate to the methods listed below:
Edit the Sales Order Status
You can edit the status of a single sales order through the View Sales Order pop-up window, by clicking on the status from the top part of the pop-up window. For more information about accessing the sales order's status, please see the View Sales Order page.
- From this pop-up window, click on the current status:
In the pop-up window that appears, select the new status:
Once you are satisfied with the new status, click the Save button.
Edit the Sales Order Integration Status
The "Edit the Sales Order Integration Status" option will update the status of the sales order so that it can integrate with a third-party software solution. (e.g., QuickBooks).
You can edit the integration status of an individual sales order by clicking on the "Edit Selected Sales Orders Integration Status" option from the More Actions drop-down menu:
- The Edit Sales Order Status pop-up window will appear:
- From this pop-up window, select the new status from the drop-down menu and click the Save button.
MobiWork allows you to edit multiple sales orders at once, thus saving you time from having to update sales orders one at a time. You can update multiple sales orders in two ways: through the More Actions button or through Excel.
Edit Integration Statuses For Multiple Sales Orders
To edit the integration status of multiple sales orders you will need to:
Check off the desired sales orders you would like to edit; if you would like to edit all your sales orders you can click on the topmost checkbox (Multiple Selection Area) located in the "List" column:
- Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Edit the Sales Order Integration Status" option:
Once you click on the "Edit the Sales Order Integration Status" option the Edit Sales Order Status will appear:
From the pop-up window, select the new values for the Integration Status.
Once you are satisfied with the new statuses for all your sales orders click on the Save button
With Excel
You can also edit sales orders in bulk through Excel; this process will enable you to update more than just the status of the sales orders:
First, you would need to select the desired sales orders and export them to Excel. For more information on how to export sales orders please see the Import or Export Sales Orders page.
- Once you have the exported file, you can make the changes directly to the Excel document:
Once you are done updating your sales orders, you can import the Excel file back into MobiWork. For more information on how to import sales orders, please see the Import or Export Sales Orders page.
