Delete Recurrent Route
Overview

With MobiWork's intuitive platform, managing your recurrent routes is both flexible and efficient. Whether you need to remove a single recurrent route or multiple routes in one go, MobiWork empowers you with the capability to do so seamlessly. You can also delete specific stops. For those wanting to remove selected stops, simply navigate to the View Recurrent Route pop-up window. Meanwhile, to delete an entire recurrent route, you need to be on the Recurrent Route "List" tab.

In the subsequent subsections, we will delve deeper into accessing and utilizing the delete feature for both recurrent routes and individual stops found within select recurrent routes.

Please note that after deleting a work order from either the Work Order or Customers features, the corresponding stop will continue to appear in the View Recurrent Route pop-up window. If you decide to make modifications to a recurrent route and publish it anew, any previously deleted work orders will be regenerated. To completely remove a work order, you must eliminate the associated stop from the recurrent route.

Important: Deleting a recurrent route and the individual stops is a permanent action within the system.

How to Access the Page

You can choose to delete the entire recurrent route or selected stops from the recurrent route. To delete the selected stops of a recurrent route, you will first need to access the View Recurrent Route pop-up window. To delete the entire recurrent route, you will need to be on the Recurrent Route "List" tab.

The following subsections will expound on how to access the delete feature for both recurrent routes and the recurrent route stops.

Delete Recurrent Route

You can delete a recurrent route from the Recurrent Route "List" tab. Please see the Recurrent Routes List page, for more information on how to access this site.

Once you are on the "List" tab, you can delete your recurrent route(s) with the following methods:

  1. Right-clicking on the "List" tab to open the right-click options and selecting the "Delete" option from the drop-down. (The options that are displayed when you right-click on a recurrent route are also available when you select the Individual Actions button.)

  2. Clicking on the More Actions button and from the drop-down, selecting the "Delete Selected Recurrent Routes" option. Please note that this option will give you the ability to delete multiple routes at once.

  3. Clicking on the Individual Actions button (the three vertical dots) from the "Actions" column; from the drop-down select the "Delete" option. (The options that are displayed from the Individual Actions button are the same as when you right-click on a recurrent route.)

Delete Recurrent Route Stops

You can delete selected stops from the recurrent route from the View Recurrent Route pop-up window. For more information on how to access this pop-up window, please see the View Recurrent Route page.

Please note that even if you delete a work order from the Work Order feature or the Customers feature, the stop will still display in the View Recurrent Route pop-up window. If you make changes to the recurrent route and publish it again, then the deleted work order will be generated anew. In order to get rid of the work order completely, you will need to remove the associated stop from the recurrent route.

Delete a Single Recurrent Route

Regardless of how you choose to delete an individual asset, the Delete Route pop-up window will automatically appear:

If you are sure you would like to delete the selected recurrent route, click the Save button. This action will delete the recurrent route and the associated stops.

Delete Multiple Recurrent Routes

MobiWork allows you to delete multiple recurrent routes at once, thus saving you time and energy from having to delete recurrent routes one at a time.

To delete multiple recurrent routes, you will need to access the More Actions button from the Recurrent Routes feature page:

  1. Check off the desired recurrent routes you would like to delete; if you would like to delete all your recurrent routes you can click on the topmost checkbox (Multiple Selection Area) located in the "List" column:

    • Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Delete Selected Recurrent Routes" option:

  2. A warning will then appear asking to confirm if you would like to delete the selected recurrent routes, and informing you that the deletion of the recurrent routes will be permanent:

  3. Enter the required number and then click the Yes button to confirm deletion. Once confirmed, the recurrent routes (and the stops that it contains) will automatically be deleted from MobiWork.

Delete Recurrent Route Stops

Instead of deleting the entire recurrent route, you can just delete the associated stops.

You can delete selected stops from the recurrent route from the View Recurrent Route pop-up window. For more information on how to access this pop-up window, please see the View Recurrent Route page.

Once you are on the View Recurrent Route pop-up window, you can choose to delete a single stop or multiple stops:

  1. Right-clicking on the selected stop to open the right-click options and selecting the "Delete" option from the drop-down. (The options that are displayed when you right-click on the stop are also available when you select the Individual Actions button.)

  2. Clicking on the More Actions button and from the drop-down, selecting the "Delete Selected Stops" option. Please note that this option will give you the ability to delete multiple stops at once.

  3. Clicking on the Individual Actions button (the three vertical dots) from the "Actions" column; from the drop-down select the "Delete" option. (The options that are displayed from the Individual Actions button are the same as when you right-click on a stop.)

Note: Please note that even if you delete a work order from the Work Order feature or the Customers feature, the stop will still display in the View Recurrent Route pop-up window. If you make changes to the recurrent route and publish it again, then the deleted work order will be generated anew. In order to get rid of the work order completely, you will need to remove the associated stop from the recurrent route.
