Unleash the power of MobiWork with our seamless import and export features for work orders. Beyond the array of documents available for exporting work orders, we offer a multitude of options to fit your specific needs. This section not only showcases the diverse document formats for exporting work orders but also guides you through the effortless process of importing and exporting your work orders with ease.
From the Work Order "List" tab, there are several different ways that you can export or import your work orders into a PDF file or Excel file:
Export into PDF
To export your work order into a PDF, you will first need to open the View Work Order pop-up window:

From the View Work Order pop-up window, you have multiple options for exporting the work order into a PDF document, each serving a different purpose. The various actions (the PDF icon, "View Work Order PDF," "View Work Order & Invoice PDF," "Export Pick List," and "Send Email With PDF") will convert the work order into a PDF format, but they produce different types of PDFs. For more information about the different types of work order PDFs, please see the View a Work Order PDF page.
You can click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Export Individual PDFs" option.
You can click on the More Actions button from the "Global Actions" section, and from the drop-down select the "Export Combined PDF" option.
Export into Excel
You can click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down select the "Export to Excel" option. You can also access the "Export Work Orders to Excel" action from the Schedule feature's More Actions button.
Import From Excel
You can click on the More Actions button from the "Global Actions" section, and from the drop-down select the "Import From Excel" option. You can also access the "Import Work Orders From Excel" action from the Schedule feature's More Actions button.
Multiple methods are available for exporting your work order into a PDF format. The aforementioned How to Access the Page section will detail how to access these methods.

You can import work orders from your Excel document. Please note that to import the work orders correctly, the Excel document must be formatted in the correct manner (please see the image below for the correct headings and order):
You can use this method to upload multiple work orders at once.
Note: Please note that in the Excel document, a double asterisk (**) indicates a conditional field, while a single asterisk (*) denotes a required field.
Once you have entered the work orders in the Excel document correctly, you can upload that document to MobiWork:
First, access the Work Order List page. Please see the Work Order List section for more information on how to access this page.
When you are on the Work Order "List" tab, select the More Actions button and from the drop-down click on the "Import From Excel" option:
Upload your Excel file to the drag & drop feature and then click on the Import button:
You will then be redirected to the Confirm Import page. Confirm your imported Excel file by hitting the Submit button:
Once you are redirected to the Import Work Order Results page, click the Done button:
The newly uploaded work orders from Excel will then be displayed in MobiWork with your other work orders.
Note: You can also import work orders from the "Import From Excel" action from the Schedule feature's More Actions button. Please see the Work Order Actions From the Schedule Page section for more information on how to access this action.
To export this file from the Work Order "List" tab:
Select the work order that you would like to export to Excel:
- Please note that if you would like to export all your work orders into Excel you can click on the topmost checkbox (Multiple Selection Area) located in the Work Order "List" tab or Schedule feature tabs columns:
Click on the More Actions button and from the drop-down menu select the "Export to Excel" option:
The Excel file will automatically download, and you will be able to locate it in your computer's Download folder.

This export will display the basic work order data (e.g., Work order ID, customer ID, address information, work order type, etc.) in an easy-to-read format. You can then use Excel to easily navigate through your company's work orders:
