This section delves into the differences between MobiWork's parts and inventory features.
Within MobiWork, parts refer to individual items characterized by attributes like name, vendor, picture, external ID, price, etc. Each part represents a specific product or component within your inventory. Inventory, meanwhile, represents the collective quantity of products available in stock, across various locations. It serves as a comprehensive overview of all parts in your possession, reflecting the total stock count.
If you would like to exclude specific parts and services from your inventory, you can do so by editing the selected part or service. In the "Advanced" panel, select the "Do Not Keep Track of Inventory (Non-Inventory)" option from the "Inventory" drop-down. Please see the Edit Parts page for more information on how to edit parts.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please let us know. We'd be happy to help!
