Overview
This section will highlight some of the most commonly asked questions regarding parts and barcodes.
Table of Contents
Registering a Part with a Barcode
When adding or editing a part, you can input the barcode number in the "SKU #" field. This registers the part with the specified SKU # and allows you to use it as the barcode number.
Asset Conversion and SKU Number Management
When a part is placed at a customer's location as an asset, it might lose its associated SKU number. If the part loses its SKU number, you can re-enter the serial numbers for the asset while on site.
