The following sections will highlight common questions associated with payment refunds in MobiWork.
To issue a refund you will first need to be on the Payments List page. For more information on how to access this page, please see the Payment List page:
From this page, click on the Paper icon or from the Individual Actions drop-down select the "View" option. Regardless, of the option you choose the View Payment pop-up window will appear:
In this pop-up window, click on the Refund button to access the Add Refund pop-up window:
In this window, enter the refund amount and click on the Refund button to initiate the refund.
An overpayment in MobiWork will show as a negative balance. We would recommend using your accounting connector (e.g., Sage) to apply customer credit to any overpayments.
For situations where there is not enough money to cover the transaction, we recommend recording the payment once the funds are cleared. In this instance you can use the "reminders" and "notes" feature to make a note of the transaction. Please see the View Invoices section for more information.
If the payment has already been recorded, we would recommend deleting and creating a new one.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please let us know. We'd be happy to help!
