Access Work Orders From Another User
There are two different ways that another user will be able to access your work order documents from their device/computer. Please note that they must have permissions to view work orders from other users as well as closed work orders.
For more information about permissions, please see the Permission Templates page. The methods to view another user's work order is as follows:
- If the other user has the Work Order number, they would be able to locate the work order under the "Location History" feature. To access the work order location history, you must launch a work order and from the work order action menu you can select "Location History". This feature will show all of the work orders created for that customer. For more information about mobile work orders, please see the Search Work Orders page.
- Another option would be to login to the web portal and search for the Work Order number. Once the correct work order has been located you will be able to locate the desired documents within the View Work Order pop-up window. For more information about searching for work orders and accessing the View Work Order pop-up window, please see the respective pages: the Work Orders List section or the View Work Order section.
