In this section, we will go over some commonly asked questions about the permissions template.
Whether you are enabling or disabling permission options, once you have edited the permission template and saved your changes, Users will be required to log out and log back in to ensure the permission changes take effect on their account.
You can restrict permissions by updating the permission templates. Please contact us for more information on how to restrict your users' permissions.
To access all sub-tabs within the Parts Inventory list page, users require both the "View Products" and "Edit Products" permissions.
You can update a user to an admin role, which requires changing their permissions to those of a global user. Please contact us for more information on updating user permissions.
Only global admins have permission to export customer lists to Excel. This restriction also applies to the following options on the Customer List page; "Export to Excel," "Export to Excel for Invoice Creation," "Export Contacts to Excel," and the "Export Locations to Excel" options.
